I have been to Story a couple of times now and absolutely love it.
The decor is streamlined and elegant while still being comfortable and the food,
absolutely amazing! I also love the concept behind the name that everything has
a story, whether it be the the story behind where the ingredients were grown that
are used in the dishes, or the story behind why you are having dinner there. Is it first
date or special occasion? Whatever the case may be it is worth the visit.
Story host many wine dinners and other events throughout
the year where Chef Carl creates many unique dishes that are not on the regular menu.

Wednesday, March 14th Brewer-Clifton Wine Dinner
The passionate and talented winemakers Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton
believe that the geographic, geologic and climatic uniqueness of the Sta. Rita Hills
appellation provide an ideal place to grow Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of intensity,
complexity and specificity. Within the appellation, each vineyard carries its own
imprint. Their mission is to present wines that convey the characteristics
inherent to each of these sites, with uncompromising quality.

The wines and entrees will vary each week and limited in number.
Chef Carl Thorne-Thomsen is one of the most talented
chefs in city and has worked at 40 Sardines and Michael Smith. He was
recently featured on Fox 4 new where he created a special flounder dish.
